Posición Postdoctoral en Agroforestal UC a través de Fondecyt 2022
La Facultad de Agronomía e Ingeniería Forestal busca investigadores altamente motivados y talentosos, con un background en Agronomía, Biología, Ecología, Economía Ambiental, Ingeniería y similar, a postular a la beca de Investigación Postdoctoral (FONDECYT Postdoctorado 2022).
Requisitos
Las personas interesadas deben tener la capacidad de trabajar en un entorno multicultural y de formar parte de un equipo interdisciplinario, vinculándose a uno de los más de 20 proyectos de investigación que actualmente buscan un postdoc.
El concurso está dirigido a investigadoras/es que hayan obtenido su doctorado a partir del 1 de enero de 2018 hasta la fecha de cierre de las postulaciones.
Condiciones de la beca
Gastos en personal: El monto cubrirá una renta bruta de $23.088.000.- por año.
Ítem Equipamiento y Gastos de Operación: $4.500.000.- anuales.
Ítem Gastos de Instalación: También considera financiamiento para establecerse en Chile, con un máximo de $3.000.000.- por una sola vez.
Fecha de inicio: 15 de abril de 2022.
Duración: 2 o 3 años
Patrocinador de la propuesta
La postulación debe ser patrocinada por un/a académico/a de nuestra facultad, el/la cual debe albergar a cada becario/a, poniendo a disposición su laboratorio, equipamiento y dependencias para el desarrollo de la investigación postdoctoral.

The College of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences UC is looking for highly motivated and talented researchers, with a background in Agricultural, Biology, Ecology, Environmental Economics, Engineering and the like, to apply for the Postdoctoral Research Fellowship (FONDECYT Postdoctoral 2022).
P. Universidad Católica de Chile is an institution with a global reputation for research and teaching. Recently, the QS Ranking ranked UC as the Chilean institution with the highest number of disciplines among the best in the world and ranked it fourth in Latin America.
Requirements
We are looking for researchers with the ability to work in a multicultural environment and to be part of an interdisciplinary team. Their work must be linked to one of the more than 20 research projects that are currently seeking a postdoc.
The contest is aimed at researchers who have obtained their doctorate from January 1st, 2018 until the closing date of applications.
Scholarship conditions
Those interested should apply for the Fondecyt scholarship with the support and guidance of the Faculty. The scholarship includes a salary of approximately US $ 31,200.0 per year In addition, an amount will be assigned for travel, Operating Expenses and Capital Goods (US$ 5,500) and health insurance (US$ 560) annually. It also considers financing to settle in Chile for scientists residing abroad at the time the results of the call are communicated (US$ 4,000 at one time).
Starting date: April 15th, 2022.

Sponsor of the proposal
The application must be sponsored by an academic from our faculty, making available his/her laboratory, equipment, and facilities for the development of postdoctoral research.
